- About to UARST 2025-The 2025 International Conference on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Applications and Remote Sensing Technology will be held in Xining, China, aiming to gather experts, scholars, engineers, and industry practitioners in the field of unmanned aerial vehicle applications and remote sensing technology from around the world to explore cutting-edge technological breakthroughs and industrial applications, and promote the collaborative innovation and development of unmanned aerial vehicles and remote sensing technology.
The conference focuses on two core areas: the application of drones covers topics such as agricultural crop protection, environmental monitoring, disaster relief, logistics transportation, urban planning, and infrastructure inspection, with a focus on autonomous navigation, cluster collaborative operations, and multi-sensor fusion technology of drones in complex environments; The direction of remote sensing technology focuses on the application of hyperspectral remote sensing, microwave remote sensing, LiDAR, multi-source data fusion, and artificial intelligence in remote sensing image processing, promoting innovative applications of remote sensing technology in resource exploration, ecological monitoring, precision agriculture, and smart cities.
The conference format includes keynote speeches, thematic discussions, technical workshops, and case sharing. For example, the theme "Application of UAV Remote Sensing in Disaster Emergency Response" will showcase the real-time monitoring and data acquisition capabilities of UAVs in disasters such as earthquakes and floods; The roundtable dialogue on "AI driven remote sensing image interpretation" will analyze the latest progress of deep learning in land cover classification and object detection. The conference has specially set up a "Young Scholars Forum" and an "Innovative Technology Competition" to provide a platform for emerging researchers to showcase and promote industry university research cooperation.
The results of the conference will form a special report, providing reference for technology research and development, industrial application, and policy formulation, and helping to build an innovative ecosystem for the deep integration of unmanned aerial vehicles and remote sensing technology. Through the collision of multiple perspectives, the conference aims to promote the interdisciplinary integration of the two disciplines and contribute wisdom to global resource management, environmental protection, and disaster prevention and control.
